NEED
MAPFRE S.A. Needed a tool that permitted themselves to handle and manage the large number of rents of the different types of offices and branches that they have all throughout Argentina and generate estimates and reports for the renovation and opening of offices.
The system had to include a work flow in a way that each one of the users could do its task and, once finished, be continued by the user responsible for the next step. The system had to integrate with the rest of computing tools and servers that were already used in the company.
BUSINESS CHALLENGE
The biggest challenge presented itself in the analysis of the logic of the tool and its complex integration.
The solution that Mapfre needed included numerous and complex relations between diferent departments of the company and a large number of modules corresponding to each of these areas. The modules had to have different types of restictions as to which profile would be able to see and/or modify them, as well as this, within the modules some profiles had to have especific roles depending on the variables to be handled by them in the system.
An important challenge arrised when the implementation and integration with the tools and servers that were already in use in the company had to be done. For this, Exelsum's highly qualified personnel worked exhaustively in Mapfre's offices paralel to the development of the tool.
PROJECT DETAILS
The software is divided in different modules and profiles with different roles and levels of access.
It permits the management of hundreds of properties all throughout the country in an efficient and agile way.
For the interaction between users belonging to different profiles an agile work flow was realized which permits the work to be done in a dynamic, tidy and effective way by each of those profiles and between the diverse departments taking part.
There also exists, other from the database and management system, a module carried out specially to generate reports at a managing level, with the possibility of exporting this information and any in any other graph included the system to a spread sheet.
The management and usage of the tool and each of its modules is highly intuitive and through a friendly interface for the users.
The project finally counted with training provided by Exelsum to the users of the tool (in a diferentiated way depending on the profile) in the offices of Mapfre, as well as with the development of an automatized demo integrated to the system in which how to use each module was explained, in e-learning format.
