Having been founded in 1981, Cablevision went from being a cable operator in the northern area of Buenos Aires, to a national level operator with presence in 8 provinces, and turning into a leading cable television company in Latin America with more than 1 million customers, due to its operational and territorial expansion politic, the consolidation of 80 operations and introduction of top level technology.
After being consolidated as a group with the incorporation of Citicorp Equity Investment (CEI) and Telefónica Internacional as shareholders, Cablevisión opens the perspective to new businesses in the telecommunications area.
